Dear families,
Students were introduced to our school fundraiser last week with a presentation and materials going home on Wednesday. We hope you have taken a moment to review the items being sold for our fundraiser and that you have started to ask those you know to help support our school!
The funds raised go to support programs in our school. Student recognition is one of the main application of the funds, and this includes things like celebrating 75% progress toward goal in AR with Rice Krispies treats, 100% progress toward goal in AR with popcorn during the movie, school achievement of AR quiz goals with popsicle treats, donuts for perfect attendance, and other recognitions for reading, math, and citizenship accomplishments. In years past, fundraisers like this were able to provide school t-shirts for all students, materials for students to use in classrooms, and equipment for use on the playgrounds.
Last year, our fundraiser raised just over $5,000 in profits for our school. Our goal this year is to raise at least $10,000 in profits for our school programs!
We can achieve this goal if each student at our school sells at least four (4) items during this fundraiser. There are also neat prizes and events students receive as they sell certain amounts of items as a token of appreciation for helping to support our school!
The items from Crazy Good Popcorn are all prepared locally right here in Las Vegas. That means that supporting this fundraiser not only helps our school, but our community as well. With the holiday season right around the corner, and delivery of items scheduled for November 13th, these items are great to serve at holiday gatherings or to give as gifts!
