LWJES is excited for the start of the new school year and the opportunities for learning and growth we will have this year.
Here is information for the first day of school, Monday, August 14.
MORNING OPENING
8:45 am – Gates are open and students/families are welcome on campus. We will ask for all students to report directly to the multi-purpose room for breakfast or to the playground to find their classroom dot.
8:55am – The bell will ring for the Morning Ceremony. All students should be in their classroom line.
8:57am – The Morning Ceremony will begin.
9:00am – Student will enter the building with their teachers. On Monday, August 14, 2017 only, parents may accompany their students to the classroom if they wish. Parents who do accompany students to class will need to exit the school through the front doors by 9:10am.
AFTERNOON DISMISSAL
3:15pm – Gates will open for families who are picking up students from the playground.
3:21pm – Students who do not ride the bus will arrive on the playground with teachers. Students dismissed to families.
(Students riding the bus will board buses along Battista Lane)
3:30pm – Students remaining on the playground will report to SafeKey or the front office.
